We base our learning on what our children are most interested in. Children learn best through hands on experiences and play. We encourage the messiest and muddiest and dirtiest of play. We encourage children to learn their limits, follow their bodies, and do what they feel is right, even when it means painting their hair, faces and bodies. We encourage children to listen to their bodies. We spend as much of our time outside, as possible. This includes water play, mud play, painting, playing in water when the weather is right.
We enjoy enriching our program and adventuring outside of our gates and walls with our Wagons. We often visit the parks, or will just stroll the neighborhood. We have even managed to find a Geocache while out on a walk!
We strive to provide longevity of care, and have our children stay until they are ready for a traditional preschool setting, but also welcome our students to stay until they are ready for Kindergarten!
We play outside in all weather conditions excluding heat waves, windy conditions or otherwise unsafe play. Otherwise, we wear rain suits, boots, and go our for our adventure!
We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child. Please take note of the following important information regarding our operating hours and scheduling policies:
Operating Hours:
Our childcare operates from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. We strive to accommodate a variety of schedules within these hours to meet the needs of our families.
Scheduling Policy:
While we make every effort to accommodate different schedules, we have a daily cap on the number of hours a child can be in our care. The maximum duration is set at 9 hours per day. This policy ensures that each child receives adequate rest and allows our staff to maintain a high level of care and attention throughout the day.
We understand that some families may require care beyond our operating hours. If you have specific scheduling needs that fall outside of our regular hours, we recommend exploring alternative childcare options that can better accommodate your requirements.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our scheduling policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff. We are here to support you and your child's needs.
Tete and Zios Place we thrive on strong positive relationships built with children and families. We believe that the children, parents and provider must have a strong bond to create a sturdy support system for the children in our care. We are firm believers in hands on, messy, art based child led play. Children learn through rich interactions and routines where they feel safe, secure and accepted. We promote curiosity and figuring out "What if" by letting them make choices, and see what happens!
